Looking For the Next Step in Your Career?

At Digitalent we select new team members based on character attributes, rather than skills and experience. We believe that character is key because it is an indicator of someone's capacity. Capacity to learn new skills, to think for themselves and to problem solve. If you think you have the character attributes required to join a high performance team, take a look at our current vacancies.

Our mission is to give our customers the best recruitment experience possible.

“We believe that character attributes are more important than skills and experience when it comes to hiring for Digitalent.”

Job Description

Digitalent is a small independent digital recruitment agency with a truly global reach. We recruit for our wonderful clients of all shapes and sizes across the USA, UK and Australian markets in two main verticals; Technology and Creative.

Whilst we may be small in terms of numbers (10 full time employees as well as several freelancers currently in the business), we still pack a hefty punch. We now boast an impressive portfolio of clients ranging from Series A-C Startups to Software Houses, Banks,Insurance companies, Airlines, Supermarkets, Car Manufacturers, Apparel and E-Commerce companies with new clients being added on a weekly basis.

We are passionate about growing a Recruitment Agency built for
the future. Our company is underpinned by some very innovative technology which allows us to interview our candidates on video and meet our clients online wherever possible. This means that we can work from anywhere at any time with no need to endure the daily commute to your typical recruitment agency office. We know how frustrating the commute can become, especially if you have worked in recruitment for a number of years and you have a family!

We are now looking to expand our Australian team by recruiting a Business Development Manager (working from home) to help drive new client acquisition across our main specialism; Technology and Creative.

Responsibilities:

  • You will lead Australian business development across the Technology and Creative space
  • You will work with Start-ups, Innovation hubs, Software houses, SaaS providers across all types of industries from banking to socially responsible and environmentally focused companies.
  • Build a client base for the future, not just the present. Understand the long-term gains of building sustainable relationships that are based on trust and respect.
  • Collaborate with the delivery team and marketing team at every part of the recruitment process life cycle to deliver the very best service possible.
  • Promote Digitalent and our services through networking, pitching, presentations and market presence.
  • Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
  • Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
  • Help drive Digitalents culture outside of the business to ensure we give the best customer experience possible to our clients and candidates.

Our Ideal Candidate:

  • 2-3 years in a Business Development / Sales role within the technology recruitment industry
  • Strong understanding of the Design and Tech recruitment market across Australia.
  • Strong sales skills. We need someone who is passionate about new business development and client acquisition who enjoys networking, presenting, and pitching products and services they really believe in.
  • Fantastic all round communication skills (writing, speaking and most importantly listening).
  • Self-motivated individual with a strong drive to succeed and who can work autonomously with minimum supervision.
  • Someone that truly believes in giving the best Customer experience possible.
  • The right personality who would be happy to work from home 5 days a week and flourish in that environment.

What We Can Offer You:

  • Work from home 5 days per week. Say goodbye to the daily commute to the office!
  • Flexible working hours to fit around your family / personal circumstances.
  • Competitive base salary and total compensation.
  • Uncapped bonus structure based around the number of new clients and placements each month.
  • Management and leadership opportunities.
