UX Designer

Job Description

UX Designer - Inside IR35 - 6mths, Berkshire

As the UX and Design Specialist, you will play a key role in the re-design and development of a new website. Additionally, you will be responsible for providing support on design and graphic-based initiatives to bolster strategic campaigns and other business areas.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead the re-design and build process of a new website, ensuring an enhanced user experience and optimized user journeys.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop design concepts and strategies aligned with business objectives.
3. Produce high-quality design deliverables, including wireframes, prototypes, and visual assets, using tools such as Figma and Adobe Suite.
4. Support strategic campaigns by creating visually compelling graphics and design elements to drive engagement and conversions.
5. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in UX design and e-commerce, implementing innovative solutions to improve website performance and user satisfaction.
6. Provide design expertise and guidance to internal stakeholders, contributing to the overall success of our digital initiatives.

Experience and Qualifications:

• Proven experience in UX design, particularly in the e-commerce sector, with a strong focus on creating sales-oriented user journeys.
• Proficiency in design software, including Figma and Adobe Suite, with the ability to translate concepts into visually appealing designs.
• Previous experience in the telecommunications industry is preferred but not essential.
• A mature and experienced candidate is desirable, but candidates with strong potential will also be considered.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively interact with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

This is a 6mth contract role to cover maternity leave, onsite in their Berkshire office
