Digitalent are delighted to be partnering with a large UK retailer who are looking to grow their current in-house development team, with the addition of a PHP Developer. This is a FULLY REMOTE opportunity (or hybrid should you prefer).

The successful candidate will work in a team integrating newly acquired businesses and getting involved in complex automotive ecommerce projects across the group.

This will provide the opportunity to take increasing responsibility for projects and initiatives.
  
The role:

• PHP – they are looking for Mid level developers able to work autonomously from the start
• They mostly work with raw PHP, so raw PHP knowledge is essential as is the desire to work with Raw PHP as opposed to other PHP frameworks.
• Frontend development using HTML, CSS, Javascript
• Agile - they give their scrum teams the space to learn, collaborate, prioritise, refactor, and improve.
• Continuous delivery - they deploy several times a day and are passionate about automation.
• Personal development - you'll get regular feedback and opportunities to develop, at the pace you choose.

They will reward you well with a basic salary up to £35,000 depending on experience. This role can be a remote role but they do also offer hybrid working to our colleagues who would like this.
