Senior Human Resources Generalist
An unparalleled opportunity awaits you with a rapidly growing Electronic Money Institution. With a global footprint spanning Australia, Cyprus, Lithuania, UK, Netherlands, USA, Israel, and Malta, our client is at the forefront of providing cutting-edge financial solutions.
The role will operate out of their Cyprus office in Nicosia and you will be required to go onsite 5 days a week.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Manage and implement the recruiting life-cycle, making recommendations for enhancements.
- Manage the effective functioning of the HRIS system, ensuring data accuracy and that the system meets the needs of the organization.
- Manage the accuracy of information in the HR System, ensuring prompt updates in response to necessary changes, such as new hires, staff exits, job titles, salary updates, supervisory changes, and/or state adjustments.
- Provide support to staff around benefits, training and development.
- Manage HR-related compliance in collaboration with the HR Director
- Supporting an employee-oriented company culture that emphasizes quality, continuous improvement, key employee retention and development, and high performance.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures, mitigating risk to the organizations.
- Provide excellent customer service to management and staff and any external stakeholders this position may come into contact with.
- Communicate all company policies to employees
- Carries out any further duties assigned by their line manager.
- Contributes to a positive and dynamic working environment.
Job-specific competencies:
- Employee Benefits – Basic knowledge of HR concepts, principles, and practices related to employee benefits.
- Confidentiality – Ability to keep personnel and other information confidential. Knowledge of whom to involve during confidential situations.
- Staffing – Knowledge of HR concepts, principles, and practices related to identifying, attracting and selecting individuals and placing them into positions to address changing organizational needs.
- Employee Relations – Basic knowledge of laws, rules, regulations, case law, principles, and practices related to employee conduct, performance and dispute resolution.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work successfully within a team.
Requirements
- University/College diploma in a relevant field
- 3-5 years’ experience in the HR field as a generalist
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Greek and English
- Impeccable organisational skills with attention to detail
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task
