About The Role:
As the Head of Engineering at PanasonicWELL, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and driving
our technological vision. Leading a talented team of engineers, you will be at the forefront of
innovation, overseeing the development of cutting-edge products and services. Your responsibilities
will include building and scaling robust engineering processes, fostering a culture of collaboration
and continuous improvement, and contributing to the strategic roadmap. As a key member of our
senior leadership team, you will have the opportunity to shape the technological direction of the
organization, ensuring that our engineering efforts align seamlessly with our overall mission and
goals.
This role will directly report to our Founder/CEO, Yoky Matsuoka.
Yohana is able to employ individuals who reside in (or that are willing to relocate to) the following
states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Nevada, Oregon, Texas, and Washington.
What You’ll Get To Do:
● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to formulate, assess, and prioritize key quarterly
objectives.
● Take the lead in mentoring and coaching engineering leaders, fostering a culture centered around
metrics and data-driven excellence.
● Strike a balance between prioritizing strategic, long-term engineering goals and shorter-term,
product-driven objectives.
● Identify and address process bottlenecks across the entire product development organization.
● Offer strategic insights on architecture and technology-based decisions.
● Manage and supervise the engineering operations of a 70+ team, as well as cross-functional pods,
ensuring high-quality, on-time, and resilient product delivery.
What You’ll Bring:
● Over 10 years of experience as a Head of Engineering, CTO, or in an equivalent leadership role.
● Proven success in leading high-performing teams within consumer technology companies.
● Exceptional prioritization skills and the ability to manage competing tasks and concurrent
high-priority projects.
● Expertise across the full technology stack, including dev ops, mobile, web, and backend
technologies.
● Demonstrated success in shaping and executing engineering strategies for early to mid-stage
startups.
● Strong familiarity with agile development methodologies and implementing agile practices.
● Effective communication and interpersonal skills for building a collaborative engineering culture.
● Proactive problem-solving ability in addressing challenges in a fast-paced startup environment.

Grade level and salary ranges are determined primarily through the scope and complexity of the role
along with a review of the applicant’s experience and skills, as well as alignment with geographic
market data and equity with other team members.
