About Our Client

Our client is a forward-thinking global technology consulting firm specialising in innovative AI and machine learning solutions that drive business transformation and create growth opportunities for their customers. They are currently expanding their new AI team in Málaga to scale an exciting AI product for a leading global financial services company.

The Project

You'll be joining a dynamic team working on an innovative risk profiling solution that enhances regulatory compliance and strengthens financial security systems. This project involves advanced graph modelling and AI-driven infrastructure to optimise workflows across EMEA.

The Role

We are seeking a talented AI/ML Engineer to join this exciting and groundbreaking project. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals who are mid level or senior who are looking to advance their careers whilst working with cutting-edge AI technologies in the fintech space.

Position Details:

• Location: Hybrid working in Málaga (3 days office/2 days remote initially, with potential for fully remote after 6 months)
• Start Date: May - June 2025
• Hours: Full-time (40 hours per week)
• Employment Type: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

• Integrate AI models using OpenAI and other machine learning libraries
• Perform data manipulation and analysis with numpy and pandas
• Collaborate with backend and frontend teams to ensure AI features are fully operational
• Optimise AI model performance and deployment workflows
• Develop solutions that enhance risk profiling and regulatory compliance
• Test and validate machine learning models for accuracy and reliability
• Document methodologies and findings for stakeholder review
• Stay updated on the latest developments in AI and machine learning

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience working with machine learning libraries and frameworks
• Proficiency in Python and data manipulation tools like numpy and pandas
• Experience integrating AI models into production systems
• Understanding of data preparation and feature engineering techniques
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong proficiency in written and spoken English

Nice to Have (But Not Essential)

• Experience in the financial services sector
• Familiarity with graph-based approaches in machine learning
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance in financial systems
• Experience with cloud-based AI services and deployment
• Understanding of containerisation concepts (Docker)
